M10 Line Preamp
The main feature of the M10 is it power supplies, it is a stereo control center with two MEISHU size boxes for the line stage alone. Component quality? The best components we currently offer, except silver wired chokes and mains transformers, otherwise C-core power supply transformers where possible.
The Galahad power supplies are really the main feature, these patent applied for units provide the circuit with “ better than battery” quality voltage and current, featuring 1 x EL34, 1 x 6X5, 1 x 5Y3, 1 x OD3, 1 x 6SL7. The line stage unit has custom made Audio Note™ 99.99% pure silver wired transformer coupled balanced inputs and outputs, calibrated mono volume controls, enough inputs and outputs. Only the best sounding NOS ECC82/12AU7 and the 6463 double triodes the diamond marked Telefunken!

M9 Phono Preamp
The M9Phono is very time consuming to make and requires a very high degree of skill to put together, it takes about 140 man hours to manufacture, as a result production output is strictly limited and delivery time is almost always inevitable.
The M9 is unusual in most respects, it’s main features are described, but now over to Andy Grove for the full low down,
“The M9 Phono stage uses a new concept, that of the “Virtual Component”. Real reactive components, whether inductors or capacitors exhibit losses due to DC resistance, hysteresis and other energy storage effects such as dielectric absorption. The M9 Phono stage uses a specially designed “RIAA Transformer”, where the usually unwanted leakage inductance between primary and secondary is utilised as a component in the RIAA equalisation. This inductance is essentially loss less, and has no stray capacitance associated with it, which is the downfall of conventional inductor RIAAs as used in the original M10, and requires such circuits to function at a low impedance level of 600ohms requiring cathode follower drive, or suffer severe problems with unwanted resonance’s. In contrast to this the M9 Phono operates at 50 kOhms, unheard of until now.

M5 Line / Phono Preamp
Level Three top line pre-amplifier with Audio Note™ tantalum resistors, 5687 line stage with novel power supply design based on the patented M10 power supply design, 6X5, OB2, ECL82, Audio Note™ filter cap and proprietary Audio Note™copper wired HiB C-core output transformer.Phono version has 6072A phono stage.
M3 Preamp
Level Three line pre-amplifier with 5687 line stage and Audio Note™ tantalum resistors, simplified choke smoothed 6X5 rectified power supply with Audio Note 1 watt tantalum resistors and in-house designed and wound I-E core output transformers.
M2 Preamp
Standard chassis style, high quality, line pre-amplifier with 5 inputs and two outputs. 6SN7 as no feedback anode follower, choke coupled power supply with 6X5 valve rectifier and ECL82 regulator.
The phono version has MM phono input and 4 other inputs, ECC83/12AX7 in first stage of phono with passive equaliser and 6DJ8 second stage feeding 6SN7 line stage, all no feedback, power supply with choke smoothing, 6X5 rectifier and ECL82 regulator.
